HUNTINGDON, Pa.- Senior Sarah Stebbin's (Easton, Pa./Easton) two goals lifted Juniata College above Frostburg State University with a 2-1 victory Wednesday afternoon at Winton Hill Field.

Stebbins received the ball in the 10th minute from senior Shannon Pierce (Gilbertsvilla, Pa./Boyertown) and beat Bobcat keeper Stephanie Gwinn from inside the six yard box.

Juniata (5-9-0) secured the win after Katie Young (Huntingdon, Pa./Huntingdon) was taken out in the box by a Bobcat defender. Stebbins added the second goal off the penalty kick in the 33nd minute.

Frostburg (10-3-0) fought back in the second half with a goal from Lauren Lentine. Lentine received the ball in the 76th minute from Christine Fitzgerald and lifted the ball over Eagle keeper, Kristen Penska (North Huntingdon, Pa./Norwin).

Penska played all 90 minutes in goal for Juniata and recorded five saves. Frostburg keeper Gwinn recorded one save across her 90 minutes of playing time.

Frostburg outshot Juniata 14-7 and held a 7-4 advantage in corner kicks.

Next on the line up for Juniata is Landmark Conference adversary Drew University, Saturday, Oct. 17, at 1 p.m. at Winton Hill Field.
