HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- The Juniata College men's soccer team opened the competitive part of its week-long trip to Germany with a 1-1 tie against a club team from Wittenbeck on Tuesday night.

The Eagles scored five minutes into the second half when Caleb Davis' (Salt Lake City, Utah/Highland) scored on a set piece, with a shot from approximately 30 yards out that curled into the goal over the Wittenbeck keeper.

Wittenbeck evened the match by converting a penalty kick opportunity with approximately three minutes remaining.

Juniata will face a club from Kuhlungsborn, Germany, on Wednesday night.
