HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- The Juniata College women's tennis team remained unbeaten in Landmark Conference play with a 6-3 win over Goucher College, Sunday afternoon on the Raffensperger Tennis Courts.

The win was Juniata's (10-4, 3-0 Landmark) sixth straight victory.

Juniata captured four of six singles matches, led by junior Amanda Fontana's (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Trinity) lengthy win at no. 1 singles over the Gophers' Tanya Cooley, 6-7 (2-7), 6-1, 6-2. Freshman Katie Healy (Pittsburgh, Pa./Mt. Lebanon) won her ninth straight singles match by upending Goucher's Carly Heinz, a First team All-Landmark selection last season, in straight sets, 7-6 (7-4), 6-1.

Junior Maggie Wolenter (Audubon, N.J./Audubon) extended her singles winning streak to six matches with a 6-3, 6-1 victory over Mouna Attarha at no. 3 singles, while freshman Jenny Wang (Huntingdon, Pa./Huntingdon Area) rounded out the Eagles' singles wins with a 6-1, 6-3 triumph at no. 4 singles.

Wolenter teamed with senior Caroline Weisser (York, Pa./York Suburban) for an 8-2 win at no. 2 doubles, and Wang and Lauren Perow (Huntingdon, Pa./Huntingdon Area) completed the doubles wins with a 9-7 victory at no. 3 doubles.

Juniata will host Elizabethtown College on Tuesday, April 7, on the Raffensperger Tennis Courts.
