HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- Juniata College will host its fifth annual Eagle Expo Internship Fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Jan. 31, in the Ellis College Center Ballroom, where approximately 150 Juniata students will search for internship opportunities for either the summer or the 2002-2003 academic year.

Internships offer Juniata students the chance to gain experience in professional settings, while businesses or organizations receive assistance with their workloads. In addition, internships facilitate student entry into their chosen profession, while providing the opportunity to apply classroom concepts and theories to the realities of an on-the-job experience.

Some of the participating businesses or organizations registered for the 2002 Juniata Eagle Expo Internship Fair include: Americorps, Allegheny Camp, Huntingdon Child and Adult Development Corporation, Fort Roberdeau Historical Site, Hershey Park and Sports Entertainment, The Hancock Group Inc., Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole, Blair County Prison, Raystown Developmental Services, and the Office of the Attorney General.
For some internships, students receive academic credit, while others are non-credit, paid or unpaid.

If your business or organization has not registered and would like to participate in this event, please contact the Office of Career Services at (814) 641-3350 for more information.
