WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Ninety minutes of regulation soccer and another 20 minutes of overtime were not enough to decide things between the Juniata College women\'s soccer team and Catholic University on Saturday in Washington, D.C., and the teams left the field with a scoreless tie. Catholic is currently ranked seventh in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Mid-Atlantic poll. Juniata keeper Lisa Russo played all 110 minutes in the Eagle goal, recording six saves. Cardinal keeper Tere Rossi was credited with four saves in her 110 minutes in the Catholic U. goal. The Cardinals outshot Juniata 14-7 during the afternoon, with each team getting two corner kick opportunities. Each squad had period where they dominated play, with Catholic coming out strong for the first 15 minutes of play, while the Eagles controlled the field during the last 20 minutes and all of the overtime sessions. Juniata\'s record slips to 6-2-2 overall, 0-1-1 Landmark, while Catholic falls to 6-1-2 overall, 0-1-1 in league play.
