HUNTINGDON, Pa. - On senior day the Juniata College women\'s swimming team made sure its trio of seniors enjoyed their final home meet as the Eagles claimed a 108-88 victory over Elizabethtown College in MAC dual-meet action Saturday afternoon. Juniata raised its conference record above .500 with the win as they are 4-3 in conference meets and 5-6 overall. The Blue Jays are 4-8 overall and 4-3 in the conference. Juniata\'s three seniors each enjoyed productive days in their final home meet. Rachel Almy (Foxcroft Academy/Charleston, Maine) got it started as she earned a win in the 800 freestyle. Fellow senior Collin Thompson (Altoona/Altoona) was right behind her in second place in the event. The pair then finished first and second again in the 400 freestyle with Almy notching her fastest time of the season in the event. Juniata\'s third senior, Amy Sutherland (Norwich/Norwich, N.Y.) also had a big day as she earned first-place finishes in a pair of events. She touched the wall first in the 200 freestyle, with her fastest time of the season in the event, and then added a win in the 200 backstroke later in the day. Kasey Brough (Carlisle/Gardners) was second behind Sutherland in the 200 and also posted her fastest time of the season. Sophomore Kristin Musselman (Central Columbia/Bloomsburg) also captured two victories on the day. She earned a win in the 50 freestyle, and then was also first in the 100 free. Brough captured Juniata\'s other first-place effort on the day as she touched the wall first in the 200 butterfly. The Eagles also got a runner-up finish from Carlie Zoubek (Paul IV/Burke, Va.) in the 200 breaststroke. Juniata will wrap up its regular season next Saturday as they face FDU-Florham and King\'s College in a tri-meet at King\'s. ###
