Soccer And Field Hockey Will Compete On Sunday

Huntingdon, Pa. - The storm that hit Central Pennsylvania Friday night and Saturday morning has forced several Juniata athletic events to be rescheduled.
The Juniata College men's and women's soccer doubleheader scheduled for Saturday afternoon has been rescheduled for Sunday Sept. 19. The women's match will take place at 1 pm with the men's match to follow at 3:00. In addition, the Juniata field hockey match vs. Gettysburg scheduled for Saturday will now be played at a neutral site on Sunday afternoon. The two teams will compete at Lock Haven University on Sunday.
The Juniata cross country teams, which were scheduled to run at the Messiah tri-meet on Saturday will not be competing this weekend. Also, the Juniata College football game at Delaware Valley will not be broadcast on 92.3 WKVR. Fans can still hear the action on the Delaware Valley College athletics website at www.devalcol.edu/athletics. Kick-off is scheduled for 1 pm.
